Accommodations are a way of removing barriers that get in the way of a person with a disability doing their job. For example, changing where they work, the way in which they do their job or providing equipment to help them. An accommodation is not special treatment, but a way of treating people differently to give everyone the same opportunity to succeed. Accommodations may well be simple, inexpensive and make good business sense.

World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)
The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) is an international community where Member organizations, a full-time staff, and the public work together to develop Web standards. Led by Web inventor and Director Tim Berners-Lee and CEO Jeffrey Jaffe, W3C’s mission is to lead the Web to its full potential. W3C’s primary activity is to develop protocols and guidelines that ensure long-term growth for the Web. W3C’s standards define key parts of what makes the World Wide Web work.
